Belflora is a charming condominium community in the north region of Rancho Santa Margarita, California. Residents enjoy being close to many forms of recreation, as well as luxury amenities.
Belflora was built by William Lyon, and is made up of 296 units. This subdivision features several floor plans including the Coronado, an upper unit with 583 square feet of living space. This plan offers one bedroom, one bath, and a carport garage. The largest unit, the Sonoma, is a lower unit with two bedrooms, two baths, and a one-car garage. It offers 1,076 square feet. Residents have access to a community swimming pool, and heated spa.
This area is maintained by the Saddleback Valley Unified School District which offers facilities such as Cielo Vista Elementary School as well as highly ranked Rancho Santa Margarita Intermediate School and Trabuco Hills High School. There are several private elementary schools nearby like Serra Catholic, St. John’s Episcopal, and Mission Hills Christian School. The Santa Margarita Catholic High School is affiliated with the Catholic Diocese of Orange. Within an hour’s drive are 110 colleges like Saddleback College, and the University of California, Irvine.
Belflora is close to Trabuco Canyon and within walking distance to Monte Vista Park which has basketball courts, picnic tables, and barbecue grills. The Lago Santa Margarita Park has a private beach where residents can fish, boat, kayak, picnic, and play volleyball. The Dove Canyon Country Club to the south offers the county’s only private Jack Nicklaus golf course.
The 241 Freeway is just minutes away and there are several shopping centers in this region including Plaza Antonio, Mercado Del Lago, and Plaza El Paseo.
Most of Rancho Santa Margarita’s home construction was done between 1985 and 2000. This master planned community is one of Orange County’s youngest cities.
